There are a lot of tattoo websites out there, and while they are excellent ways to find new ink, you definitely want to be picky when choosing a site.

Here are the 3 things to look for when deciding on tattoo websites:

1. Selection. First thing to take not of is selection. Is the site just tailored to one particular group? There are many tattoo websites that are “female only” sites. Or other sites that seem tailored to certain social groups. Even if you are female you should consider another site which doesn’t exclude so-called “male” designs, as nowdays there is so much crossover in tattoos. Many designs will look great on both male and female, so don’t limit yourself to just female labeled ink, and female only sites.

2. Catagories. Second thing to look for are categories. Does the site have a LOT of categories? This is key for good selection. Look for categories like tribal, old school, large designs, small designs, and so forth. This makes looking for a tattoo fun and easy. You can ignore the categories you are not interested in and focus on all the styles you like.3. High Quality Work. Read the description of the tattoo site. Does it say “high quality” anywhere? As in they feature high quality work? This is key to look for. Generally if they say it, they will have to live up to it.
